The headliner comes out of the car. Every fiber is fed through by hand, trimmed to length and set at the surface so the point of light is crisp instead of a glow. Then the whole thing goes back in with the wiring hidden. It's a multi-day job and the difference between a good one and a bad one is entirely in how many hours went into it.

OUR PROCESS
1. REMOVAL
The headliner comes out of the vehicle. Everything is done on the bench, not overhead in the car.
2. FIBER SET
Each point is drilled, fed, and trimmed by hand to your chosen density and pattern.
3. REINSTALL
Wiring routed and hidden, control set, headliner refitted and checked point by point.

What is a starlight headliner?
A starlight headliner is fiber-optic lighting installed into the vehicle's headliner to look like a night sky. All In One Automotive offers three packages:

Optional headliner reupholstery: suede +$1,595 or genuine Alcantara +$2,595. Panoramic roofs and damaged headliners are confirmed before deposit.
What is the difference between ambient lighting and footwell lighting?
All In One Automotive's Interior Accent / Footwell lighting is a basic concealed LED system starting at $1,095. Ambient Lighting is a full OEM-style multi-zone system: Standard covers dash and door trims; Premium adds footwells and the center console. Ambient lighting starts at $1,695.
How long does it take?
Multiple days. The headliner comes out and every fiber is set by hand — there's no fast version of this that also looks right.
Can you add shooting stars?
Yes. Shooting-star effects can be built into any density.
Does it work with a sunroof or panoramic roof?
Usually yes, with the pattern designed around the opening. We'll confirm once we see the vehicle.
Can it be removed later?
The headliner can be replaced. It isn't a quick reversal, so this is a commitment — worth knowing before you book.
Do the colors change?
Depends on the system we spec. Single-color and color-changing setups are both available.
